Ikaria started its journey with the development of scientific breakthroughs with important medical applications. Helping clinicians succeed is the ultimate motivation for our organization. Since the merger with INO Therapeutics, we've evolved to a 400+ person widely respected leader in the development and commercialization of innovative therapies for critically ill patients.

The need is great, so we aim high

More than 56,000 patients are in the ICU on any given day in the US. Our sights are set on developing new standards of care to improve the clinical outcomes of these and other critically ill patients wherever they may be.1 Since its commercialization in 2000, we believe that approximately 360,000 patients have been treated with INOMAX worldwide, replacing an invasive type of surgery.1,2
